![]() Today we put on a performance for our Y6 families and the rest of the school. It included singing songs in many styles from different decades, including scat, jazz, the Blues, rock and pop. Some of the songs were unaccompanied whilst for others the backing was provided. Some of the backing music was performed by our own instrumentalists on the bass guitar, flute, autoharp, piano and vibraphone. Some very brave children sang solos. The children also showed some of their art work and performed a fantastic jive routine. Thanks to Mr. Mitchell for all his hard work and well done to Elder Class! That's great Anna. I loved Hey Jude - it is my favourite Beatles song - and I thought you were all so brave singing it the way you did! The dance was fantastic.
