Following on from work on Safer Internet Day on Tuesday to help us all remember to stay safe online, Mr. Lockley arranged for Years 5 and 6 to have a 90 minute workshop entitled 'bCyberwise' run by Gloucestershire Life Education. The interactive session led by Anita really got the children talking about their online experiences and how they could all ensure that they behaved safely. Anita reminded the children to:
* Keep passwords private
* Only click on links from people you know and trust
* Delete or block unwanted messages
* Check if you are on a safe website
* Think before you share comments or photos online
and not to:
* Share personal information
The key message to remember from Safer Internet Day this year is 'Play Your Part for a Better Internet'. This was reinforced during the workshop and we hope that the children of Elder Class will continue to make positive choices about their online behaviour.
