![]() On Wednesday, Year 6 visited SkillZONE in Gloucester, the county's safety education centre. SkillZONE is a state-of-the-art life-sized village and it helps to educate children to make healthy and safe choices in real life situations. It is a fully interactive learning environment with 16 zones that cover a range of scenarios including road, rail and water safety, as well as having an Internet cafe, a court and custody cell, a bus and even a dark alleyway. The village is also equipped with a fully functioning house. It was a fantastic morning and the children thoroughly enjoyed their two-hour visit. The scenarios were perfect as we have been thinking about our health and wellbeing this week.
