We were delighted to have been able to participate in our second rounders tournament of the season. We played in Pool One of the Small Schools competition in the Cheltenham and North Tewkesbury Sports Network Level 2 School Games event. We ended up finishing 2nd in the pool, having lost our first game against local rivals Twyning before beating Andoversford 8-4, getting all of the team out in the process. We then went on to play Grangefield in the School Games bronze medal match. Tirlebrook worked extremely hard, encouraging each other and demonstrating fantastic teamwork to drive each other on to a fantastic victory, securing those bronze medals. Furthermore, two of our players were awarded School Games Values bands to reward them for their great attitudes towards sport. Oisin played extremely well and demonstrated self-belief and was therefore awarded the 'Self Belief' School Games band. Eve showed that she was a fantastic part of the team, even surprising herself at times, and she participated with great respect and a positive attitude. She was awarded the 'Respect' School Games band. This was another great achievement for Tirlebrook! Well done.
Squad: Ethan Whybrow (captain), Ciara Moran, Alex Oliver, Jessica Worrell, Oisin Moseley, Eve Sherbourne, Christopher Ballinger, Erin Hunt, Charlie Kendrick & Ellie Baker.
