A team of eight children from Y5 and Y6 took part in the annual Cheltenham and North Tewkesbury Sports Network's Panathlon competition. The event consisted of a series of skills stations based on a range of inclusive sports such as Boccia, New Age Kurling and Table Cricket. Other activities included target-based games, parachute games and the development of running, jumping and throwing skills. As a team, the children collected points from each activity station. These were then combined to give the team an overall score. There were medals awarded for all participating teams as well as Gold, Silver and Bronze for the top three teams and Tirlebrook did amazingly well to finish second, picking up the Silver medals and missing out on Gold by a mere 4 points. Thank you to all the children for their hard work and especially to Mrs. Gosden and Mrs. Assheton for accompanying the team and supporting them throughout the event.
Squad: Grace Freeman, Theo Carey-Owen, Bethan Brookes, Max Thomas, Jake Finch, Jack Battrick, Zach Khan & Matthew Ryland
