Several Year 6s were part of the netball team that participated in Round 2 of the Tewkesbury Primary Sport Network's Netball League, led by our very positive and encouraging captain, Esme Smith. The team began the competition fantastically, winning their first game against Mitton. Their next two matches were tough competition. The team worked extremely hard to battle against Hopelands and John Moore, but unfortunately we lost against both teams. However, we ended our evening on a high, as we strode to victory against Queen Margaret's. By the end of the competition, taking into account or points scored in both round 1 and 2, Tirlebrook sat proudly in third place overall in the Large Schools' category. All of our players have worked brilliantly this year and they are very worthy of their third place achievement.
Team: Esme Smith (captain), Harriet Bethel, Rosie Hiorns, Daisy Johansen, Zac Jones, Fraser Matharu and Jonathan Peirce.
