This afternoon I had intended for a nice quiet art lesson (with hammers!)...quiet might not be the best word to describe the activity though!
We did some Japanese art called 'Hapa Zome' which literally translates as 'leaf dye'.
We created the art work by beating up leaves with hammers and pounding the natural pigment into cloth.
