Congratulations to all of the winners of cups and medals in our end of term assembly. As we continue to strive to promote the core values of the school, and as so many children consistently display them, it has become increasingly difficult to select just one winner of each of the special cups. Congratulations to Jolie and Reece who won class nominations and medals for the core values of Creativity and Environment respectively.
Well done to Izzy for winning a nomination, medal and the overall cup for the core value of Community. Izzy's tireless work and commitment with fundraising for Sue Ryder this term has earned the love and respect of her peers and teachers alike. Izzy has also been a keen contributor to the Eco Council and is never afraid to get her hands dirty to help the school (even if it means encountering enormous spiders!!). Well done, Izzy!
And well done to Charlie for winning a nomination, medal and the overall cup for the core value of Positive Attitude. Charlie is a really committed member of the School Council through which he has made a massive impact in school this year. In the last few weeks alone he has helped to organise Book Week, including the 'Dress as a Character Day' and the 'Book Swap', and he was instrumental in organising the event for Sport Relief. He always displays a positive attitude - whether in lessons, in clubs or when representing the school, either in sports or on other occasions. He has learnt to deal with disappointment and he never gives up. Well done, Charlie!
