It was great to see the Young Sport Leaders get underway today...keep it up!
We watched some Cracking Contraptions today; we then worked in groups of 5 to try and make a clear flow diagram to explain how it worked...we will discuss these tomorrow.
Diwali is the Hindu festival of lights celebrated every year in autumn. One of the major festivals of Hinduism, it spiritually signifies the victory of light over darkness, good over evil, knowledge over ignorance, and hope over despair. Its celebration includes millions of lights shining on housetops, outside doors and windows, around temples and other buildings in the communities and countries where it is observed. We had a fun afternoon celebrating all things Diwali. Music, craft activities, henna tattoos, rangoli patterns and food were all part of the afternoon’s activities, with a Diwali celebratory banquet at the end of the day for everyone to enjoy!
Can you remember any of the features that you saw in the books you were looking at today?
Well done for presenting our last topic so well...I hope you all enjoyed it!
