We have spent this morning sharing our wonderful World War Two homework projects with each other. Take a look below to see what everyone in Elder class has been up to:
Yesterday afternoon, we had a visit from the NSPCC, who talked to us about the importance of speaking out and staying safe. Everyone was very sensible during both the assembly and the workshop that we had in the afternoon, where we learnt:
Unbelievable scenes here in Elder class this afternoon, where all of our hard investigative work has paid off! We have arrested the murderer, who turned out to be none other than our very own Year 3 teacher Mr Bebbington! He was thoroughly searched after his arrest and we found a suspicious coded note in one of his pockets. Hopefully we will be able to work out what it says tomorrow...
We managed to record the rest of our radio broadcasts this morning. Click below to hear the latest breaking news on what has been happening in Elder class...
Everyone in the class has worked incredibly hard this half term learning the skills required to be a sports leader and this afternoon was our final test. A big thank you to Silver Birch class for allowing us to commandeer them for the afternoon and well done to all the Year 6s, who displayed all of the requisite characteristics to undertake the role of Sports Leader! After half term, pairs of Sports leader will now be running games at lunchtime for the other children in the school to participate in.
This morning, we have been writing radio broadcasts to reveal the truth of what happened at Tirlebrook on that fateful night 2 weeks ago. We planned, wrote and then recorded our broadcasts... have a listen below and see what you think! The rest of our broadcasts will follow tomorrow!
