Well done Elder!
This evening, 8 eager and determined children participated in the first round of the Tewkesbury Netball League. We began the evening by successfully winning 3 v 1 against Twyning. The team worked extremely well together, applying all of their netball skills, to put in a fantastic first performance.
As they left the court, the team oozed with excitement as they prepared themselves for their second match against Mitton. Again, the team worked really well against a challenging team to score 1 v 0. Unfortunately, our next match against John Moore was not as successful. Although we lost 5 v 0, the team kept their spirits up and their positive attitudes were brilliant. It was with those fantastic attitudes and even greater teamwork that they went on to win their next match against Gotherington, scoring 5 v 2. To end what was a very successful evening, the Tirlebrook team played an even stronger game against C of E, scoring 5 v 0. The team really deserved all of their wins this evening, putting them in a superb position to go forward into round 2. A Tirlebrook triumph for the new netball team. Well done!
Squad: Cerys Coxshall (Captain), Daisy Johansen, Olivia Gardiner, Molly Clarke, Ava Baker, Jonathan Peirce, Fraser Matharu, Alfie Dowding.
What a fabulous opportunity some of our Junior (& members of Elder Class!) had on Sunday at Worcester Warriors...
I was so delighted for all the children lucky enough to be involved...
Thanks to Miss. Featonby, Mr. Lockley and Mrs. Quelcuti who made this trip possible for these children.
