 We constructed fairground rides from K'nex. These were connected up to laptops where lights, sounds and movements were programmed into the rides. Reception class were invited to see the working fairground rides and we enjoyed sharing our fairground attractions with them.                    Thanks to Mrs. Dray who has continued to give up her time to teach us how to knit. The results continue to be impressive and we are all having a great time.
 Finding out facts about dementia We were delighted to invite Year 8 pupils from Tewkesbury School to help the children in Elder Class to learn about dementia. The children split into their House Teams and completed a carousel of activities about dementia under the direction of the older pupils. It is one of many ways in which the two schools collaborate.  Anti-Bullying Week concluded with 'Blue Friday'. The School Council organised a march around the building to show their support for the 'Beat Bullying' campaign. Each Y6 house created a banner. |
