Following a successful week doing lots of Isle of Wight preparation, you now need to pack your bags and get ready for what we hope will be one of the best weeks of your primary school career!
Please don't forget your sun cream and sun hats! - It seems that they will be essential (and hopefully you have some sun cream left from Mallorca; you could bring your Jet2 caps and glasses too!).
Also, please have your 'Tirlebrook on Tour' t-shirts on and the hoodies in a bag nearby or attached to your waist, if it's very sunny on Monday morning!
Have a great weekend - I might see some of you at the Cotswold Athletics event on Saturday morning!
Please don't forget your kit tomorrow; we will be going in to the Woodland Workshop tomorrow afternoon.
We did a bit of a 'murder mystery' type activity today, however it was all about finding the 'prankster' who mixed up all the football kits.
It tested a lot of the mathematical concepts we have learned this year...
Good efforts were shown today as the Y5/6 represented their houses in a rounders competition.
The winner will be revealed on Friday.
First of all: well done on a good run through today!
I just wanted to write to let you all know that my family and I have booked our holiday, on the back of your kind Jet2 gift, to Gran Canaria for some Winter Sun in 2019!
Having never experienced 'Winter Sun' before, or the Canary Islands, it seemed like a great chance for us to get away and experience something new. For our boys, it will be the first time they've flown abroad and experienced a holiday like this.
We are still struggling to digest how it's all happened are truly grateful for this wonderful opportunity that you have given us.
Your kindness and generosity has been amazing; thank you.
Mr. (& Mrs.) Tomkins, Fyfe and Torran!
We used concrete resources to prove that W x L x H = area... were you convinced?
Phoebe, a dance coach, came and kick-started our Health and Well-being week with a fabulous street dance workshop...hope you enjoy the video!
This week we are looking at the third person for the prompt. As always, please make sure you use the prompt as it is written with no changes or additions. It is:
…however, she couldn’t believe what she had done…
Hope you're having a good week so far.
Can you please make sure your scripts are in school on Thursday - we will try and have a run through of the play from start to finish; the more confident you are with your lines, the better!
We have, thanks to Joseph's wonderful idea, a tab for the school play on the blog now too. Keep an eye on it in case certain things come up in the next few weeks as we prepare to do our Y6 show!
