How creative can you be this week...these 5 words have to appear somewhere in your 100 words (can you be creative with the use of each word?)
Well done on getting through this week which has involved a lot of things, not least recovering from our very exciting trip to Mallorca.
Please do try and recharge your batteries this weekend: you will need as much energy, brain power and positive attitude that you can muster in the next few weeks with our focus turning more to SATs prep and the scientific aspects of our topic.
We have also got the school's Kindness Day to look forward to on Tuesday, among plenty of other things!
We have spent considerable time learning the Roman Numeral system today; we learnt that they only had 7 letters for numbers and nothing for the number zero!
The easiest way we found to remember it was to break the number down...
i.e. with 1976
What is the roman numeral for one thousand? M
What is the roman numeral for nine hundred? CM
What is the roman numeral for seventy? LXX
What is the roman numeral for six? VI
So... MCMLXXVI = 1976.
Thank you so much for your super generous gift that I received this morning, alongside a lovely card and many very kind words too.
The whole experience has been absolutely amazing: from start to finish!
It has been worth every second of effort gone into it for the end result that we achieved. Your support and determination has been invaluable in the success of this trip and the gift I received this morning was completely unexpected and truly heartwarming.
The whole thing has all happened so fast and has been somewhat positively overwhelming at times too!
The children were an amazing credit to the school and to all of the families too.
My family will be delighted to have our day out at Cotswold Wildlife Park and I will try and do it very soon... (hopefully the weather will be similar to the Mallorcan sunshine!).
The other staff have also been very thankful for their gifts and kind words too.
Today we have spent the day reflecting on the superb trip.
We stopped for a short-break at Beaconsfield and are back on the road...
Please park considerately by keeping Brensham Road as clear as possible to allow ease of access for our coach driver.
After another smooth flight , and post flight meal, we are on the coach...
Please keep an eye on the blog as I will post it here if this differs.
Your kids have been wonderful.
We would like to make passports available from 13:20 on Monday 23rd April 2018 from the School Office so that hand over can be quick...and we are sure you can't wait to see the children!
We are all up and have had a healthy breakfast!
We are currently packing and then heading for a final hour or so in the resort, before the return journey.
A certificate presentation with Angelica Bell; a party full of inflatables and another visit to the beach...all now in bed ready for their final morning before the journey home.
Thank you for all the positive comments - we have been telling the children that you've been in touch!
