Hopefully this 10 minute focussed practice on our grammar skills will help you to perform your best in the tests in May.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us on this first day of voting.

What have you found most interesting about Henry 8th so far?
We are going to have a debate in the final week of term about whether he was a good king or not.
Hope you are looking forward to the trip to the John Moore Museum tomorrow. Please come in school uniform and if you feel you need different footwear for the walk, that is fine.
There was some great learning about reflective symmetry happening this morning with a loop of string!
We then explored different patterns in a rich activity which promoted logical thinking.
Many of us were surprised to find a general parallelogram has no lines of reflective symmetry.
Remember to pick up your house points by putting your reasoning on our 'Maths of the day' tab...
You can do it! #YesUCan
A good chat was had in PSHE this morning about identifying hazards and reducing risks.
We discussed how our actions can significantly reduce risks, so we can be safe. There are critical moments in decision making; we need to make sure we make the right and safe choices. Remember, in a fraction of a moment you can still change your mind and avoid an accident.
Well, don't we have some exciting news...
I had an email last night which stated:
Firstly, a big thank you from everyone at Jet2holidays for all the hard work and efforts you and your students have put into your Ultimate School Trip competition entries.
I am delighted to announce the Fairytale book submitted by your school has made it through to the final 5 shortlist in the region of London. CONGRATULATIONS! Not only are you one step closer to the Ultimate School Trip for your class, but by making the shortlist you’ve already won £1,000 for your school!
So, what happens next?
We played 2 more tri-golf games today called Finders Keepers (a putting game) and Grand National (a chipping game) in preparation for a small friendly class competition tomorrow.
As a class today, we created a quiz to consolidate our learning in the Who Wants to be a Millionaire format.
If you want to play along at home you have to do a lot of 'pausing' in the video. Unfortunately, the answers don't show on the video either as it was created on PowerPoint and had hyperlinks which we could click to reveal the correct answer in class.
See how you get on anyway!
This week we have a question for you for the prompt. It will need lots of thought! It is:
…but what if I was in charge?…
Things to think about:
It is meant to be feeling like Spring, although these temperatures have made it feel more like mid-winter!
What has happened this week?
Crime and Punishment...
Negative numbers and ordering to 10,000,000!
Sentence work on subordination and coordination...
World Book Day...
What has been your highlight?
The topic menu is now available to view, as well as all the usual other things that we promote.
Have a lovely weekend; see you Monday.
