The purpose of the last piece of writing was to write for an audience of Year 2s...so today we read them to our intended audience.

This soon led us to multiplying decimals too (remember decimals, fractions and percentages are all part of the same crew!).
As part of our writing ambition to do a "quality piece of writing" every day. Sometimes we will spend a long time thinking about it; other times we will be very brief. Today we only had 15 mins and I asked the class to write a letter about a club they would like me to run in the summer term!
It would be great to see you write your ideas on here too - especially if they've changed since this morning!
