We started our TirleBook week today!
Today I shared with the class (one of!) my favourite book as a child...it is so difficult to choose just one though!
We also started writing for a class anthology: we are doing scary stories - the descriptive writing that was produced today was inspiring!
If you can, get involved with Readathon - it is a tremendous charity, doing lots for children who are in hospital so they can enjoy stories too.
During 'TirleBook' Week we are going to be going over to Little Oaks to perform some fairytales... we are starting our rehearsals now!
How to make something that happened in the past...connect to the present:
How did you get on?
For the prompt this week, I thought we would do something a little different. Rather than having part of a sentence or some individual words we have a theme. you can take it anywhere you want to! it is:
You could tell your readers what makes you laugh or how you feel when you laugh. You might like to recount a funny story to make your readers laugh. Bring tears to our eyes!
Wow - I can't quite fathom where this term has gone! (In fact, where half the year has gone!)
What a term Elder...you just need to look back over this blog to see how much we've covered, and that only touches the surface!
A very well done; enjoy your half term breaks and get ready for some tutor adventures when we get back together on Monday 20th February.
If you want to share any experiences you have on here, then please do!
