Me and my Dad have always liked football. I am 14 and my Dad is 43. Ever since I was 12, we have been talking about a new kit for our local football team. Currently, it was black and grey, which was nice, but we didn’t think that it represented our team well - because we’re happy and active so we thought that dark colours wouldn’t suit us. We wanted bright colours like pink, blue, green and orange, to give a nice vibe about the team.
So we went to the football shirt shop on Saturday. We walked in and asked for some bright pink and blue shirts.
Later that day, we came back and collected our shirts, but they were the wrong colour! What were we going to do!?
Sweet popcorn, loud speakers and massive screens is what I’m looking forward to... because tonight I’m going to the cinema; I can’t wait!
Buzzing with excitement, I have my delicious popcorn, showing the man that worked there my ticket and queuing up to get in. Sitting in my chair, I watched the screen, listened to the speakers but I realise something odd. Something very odd. I love the movie but it is the wrong colour...
All the things things in the film were the wrong colour. The sun was blue, the sea was red, the grass was yellow and the clouds were lilac.
The strangest thing was the other people in the room thought it was fine.
The doctors were confused, they sat down beside the human body and pondered what was happening.
They cut open their test subject when something peculiar happened. The body is normal and everything is in place, but it is the wrong colour. The blood is brown and the lungs are a sickly pink - dominating the whole chest cavity.
The apprentice screamed it was a horrific sight. And then all of a sudden it was back to normal. Like someone flipped a switch. It was so weird. Then the apprentice collapsed.
They were stone dead ; the dead body on the table stood up kicked away the doctors as he walked out laughing meniacly torwards the children’s ward.
My sister was annoying. Day in day out, she annoyed me. I gave her one last warning and guess what? She broke it. So I absolutely lost it, I had E N O U G H with her.
Fuming, I got up reallyand tossed her toys everywhere. But then I did something that I regret doing…
I was so cross that I S M A S H E D her tablet all over the floor. She started crying and eventually told mum. “What an idiot,” I said to myself. But then, I was found guilty…
I’m buzzing with excitement because today I’m going to the best theatre EVER! It has spectacular shows, fantastic films but tonight I’m going to see the circus.
When I got there I was a little bit disappointed because it was all old and creepy but what caught my eye was the most amazing sweet stall ever. So I stepped up into the mammoth-long queue and stood there for hours and hours.
Finally when I got to the front of the queue I ordered a bag of scrumptious candy floss. There was something intriguing about this old lady, who was running the shop, she seemed scary in a way. She bent down to get a bag and when she looked up again all I saw was a ghost!!!
John was a 15 year-old boy who lived in Kentucky. In his town, there weren’t many nice places to go to. But one stood out the most - the cinema just down the road from where he lived.
One night, he decided that he wanted to explore it alone. So he crept out of the house and ran down the path.
Finally, he was there.
He walked in, trying not to make a noise. To his surprise, he heard a giggling sound. He hated creepy giggling, so he ran straight out and back home, where he had nightmares all night…
The builders hated their jobs. With the doing-this-and-that day-in and day-out, it was the same old thing. Nothing was new or exciting anymore, just loft conversions ; garages being knocked down.
It was a Monday morning in Sheffield, the whole crew got in the vans ready for a new day of average work. All they had to do was a simple knocking down of a church: this would have been the first interesting thing in weeks. With mallets and hammers they set to work banging down layers after layer.
A thick wall of dust and muck settled to the ground leaving an empty cave of sight where a sweet shop lay. The sweets were moulded in to different shapes - their once sweet taste disappeared. Jars upon jars of gumdrops, tangy tangerines and gob stoppers! The builders rubbed their eyes in disbelief. It was the most exciting thing they have ever seen!
Jim had a nice house, everything was perfect, well that’s what he thought. One day, he went out to the shops to get some food for the week ahead. He collected all the food that he wanted and walked up to the till. He checked his wallet to pay but….
It was empty. What a surprise! All of his money was gone, like it had vanished. Anyway, he returned home empty handed. He opened the door and…
It was empty too!? Why was everything empty???? That was just one of the many thoughts that were circling in his head.
Dan’s heart started sinking. The red burning fire raced towards him.
He grabbed the last few coins from his bedroom and ran outside and opened his garage and walked in. Suddenly an idea sparked into his mind, so he picked up the ladder and climbed onto the roof.
On top he had these bright blue warning lights which he had never used before. He switched them on – the lights started flashing onto the pavement.
Dan turned the lights so that they were facing the house, and then he turned on the alarm and waited for the wail of the sirens…
Today I have had a very unlucky day.
It all started on my way to work...
I was walking along the pavement in a rush because I was late for work, when I came across a ladder. Everyone knows not to walk under a ladder but I had to get to work so there was no choice.
SPLAT!!!!!! A tin of red paint fell on top of me and I was covered head to toe in paint but I had to carry on because I was late for work.
I was still walking along the pavement when my feet felt a bit sticky, I looked down and noticed I was walking in cement and now I was stuck to it. I felt like I was sinking in quick sand. (When I got out) I had to carry on because I was late for work.
I carried on walking but then I realised there was a purse on the floor so went and handed it in to the police in rush because I was late for for work.
Guess what... the police said I could keep the purse because there were no takers but I had to get going because I was late for work.
While I was there I asked “where is PREZZO (where I work)”. “PREZZO isn’t open today it’s not open on sundays” they replied confused. Sunday. I don’t work on sundays I must of got the wrong day. “Right I better get going”. So I did but with my few extra coins I got a taxi.
