An emus land.
A once salt field landscape filled with fish
Now covered in mans wish,
A field of greasy oil full of coal
I’m which lays the mutant soul,
Pretty landscapes full of crisp snow
Now melted ice caps are the show,
Brown jungles used to be green
Dotted around is animals rarely seen,
Giraffes homes torn down by men
Baby emus asking will it be over and when,
This was once an emus land
But us humans we weren’t planned,
Now animals don’t live beside human
They live on plates sprinkled with cumin,
This isn’t a cry for help on the earths behalf
It’s a poem from an emu and a calf.
One sunny day in the Sahara desert, a giraffe named Jimmy was chomping happily on a delicious chocolate ice cream.
He was half way through it, enjoying every little morsel – when suddenly he saw something brown and greasy in his fur! The ice cream had melted in the hot desert sun, so he licked his lips to try and catch some more ice cream before it disappeared.
But what was that strange taste? Was it salt? After all it was a very hot and sweaty day.
A power he thought
If only i could, just, well... disappear through thin air to another planet - how wonderful it would be.
The very first day of his adventure had begun. He would explore different places so he went to ask his mum where he should explore she said, "The garden, maybe?".
He got a little bit annoyed and suddenly he was some where, where nobody lived in a dark forest with tree stumps sticking out.
Maybe be had powers after all...
No one knew what was behind the window. No one wanted to either. It was put there by the mayor of an isolated town.
Not even the strongest men could even dare to look through it. But it could. It was not a man nor human for that matter. It’s face was burnt to a crisp and it’s eye were deep in its face. The towns children mocked this thing but little did they know it was part of something much bigger.
So that particular afternoon this creature walked up to the window and undid the blinds he saw ...
Himself. It wasn’t a window, just a mirror. And all of the other towns people were like him.
Mark loved planets. Big ones, small ones - he loved them all.
One day, he was looking at some planets online and he found a really creepy one.
He closed his eyes. Then he opened them. He was there! There were some creepy statues that he didn’t think too much of.
But then, they started to move. They chased behind him with their red glowing eyes.
He ran, and he ran ‘til he couldn’t run anymore.
He had lost them, surely.
But then he turned his back - and there was one staring at him with its bloodthirsty smile and blood coloured eyes…
Me and my Dad have always liked football. I am 14 and my Dad is 43. Ever since I was 12, we have been talking about a new kit for our local football team. Currently, it was black and grey, which was nice, but we didn’t think that it represented our team well - because we’re happy and active so we thought that dark colours wouldn’t suit us. We wanted bright colours like pink, blue, green and orange, to give a nice vibe about the team.
So we went to the football shirt shop on Saturday. We walked in and asked for some bright pink and blue shirts.
Later that day, we came back and collected our shirts, but they were the wrong colour! What were we going to do!?
Sweet popcorn, loud speakers and massive screens is what I’m looking forward to... because tonight I’m going to the cinema; I can’t wait!
Buzzing with excitement, I have my delicious popcorn, showing the man that worked there my ticket and queuing up to get in. Sitting in my chair, I watched the screen, listened to the speakers but I realise something odd. Something very odd. I love the movie but it is the wrong colour...
All the things things in the film were the wrong colour. The sun was blue, the sea was red, the grass was yellow and the clouds were lilac.
The strangest thing was the other people in the room thought it was fine.
The doctors were confused, they sat down beside the human body and pondered what was happening.
They cut open their test subject when something peculiar happened. The body is normal and everything is in place, but it is the wrong colour. The blood is brown and the lungs are a sickly pink - dominating the whole chest cavity.
The apprentice screamed it was a horrific sight. And then all of a sudden it was back to normal. Like someone flipped a switch. It was so weird. Then the apprentice collapsed.
They were stone dead ; the dead body on the table stood up kicked away the doctors as he walked out laughing meniacly torwards the children’s ward.
My sister was annoying. Day in day out, she annoyed me. I gave her one last warning and guess what? She broke it. So I absolutely lost it, I had E N O U G H with her.
Fuming, I got up reallyand tossed her toys everywhere. But then I did something that I regret doing…
I was so cross that I S M A S H E D her tablet all over the floor. She started crying and eventually told mum. “What an idiot,” I said to myself. But then, I was found guilty…
I’m buzzing with excitement because today I’m going to the best theatre EVER! It has spectacular shows, fantastic films but tonight I’m going to see the circus.
When I got there I was a little bit disappointed because it was all old and creepy but what caught my eye was the most amazing sweet stall ever. So I stepped up into the mammoth-long queue and stood there for hours and hours.
Finally when I got to the front of the queue I ordered a bag of scrumptious candy floss. There was something intriguing about this old lady, who was running the shop, she seemed scary in a way. She bent down to get a bag and when she looked up again all I saw was a ghost!!!
