Up on a lonely cloud in the sky, James the joyful giant was having afternoon tea. Suddenly, as he was about to take another sip of his tea, a big gust of wind came and blew the cup out of his hand! “Oh no!” James cried “My favourite china cup!”
As James sat on his little stool he watched helplessly as his cup plummeted towards the wet ground. Rapidly falling, his cup was getting out of sight. Sitting anxiously on the edge of his stool, he knew there was no chance to save his cup from falling. All his joy had gone, and he began to sob. “I’ve lost my cup for ever.”
One day when James was older he found his cup; it was very dirty and was covered in moss and it had a smudge just above the handle but other than that it was it was as good as new.
