On one cold and frosty morning, I eagerly looked out the window to see layers of snow scattered around on the ground below. Splashing tirelessly, my goldfish was getting water everywhere on the new paint! Snuggling up to my brown teddy bear, I tried to get back to sleep.
Suddenly my Mum opened the door. “Morning!” she said enthusiastically.
“Mum!” I shouted “Watch out for the ladder…” but it was to late. The ladder slowly toppled over and hit my Mum on the head! “Ouch!” she moaned, “I forgot that was there!” She flew around trying to tidy everything up. I got out of bed to help her. Together we started to laugh. “What a start of a day!”
I stepped into to beautiful forest picking up lovely pebbles. "this is such a nice place I muttered to myself." Looking around taking everything in when suddenly I spot something, all I could see were brow figures dancing in the wind. I merge closer trying to get a better view when suddenly a loud SNAP came from the bottom of my foot.
Finally I reach this abandoned forest all I could see was brown and black figures swaying in the wind. I decided to take a picture so I turned on my flash but every time I would point the flash at them a new figure would appear. What was happening...
On one night the trees woke up and danced.
It was the early hours of the morning and I was still sound asleep.
Drumming music got louder and louder.
I woke up. What was it? I had to find out. I got out of bed and followed the music. It got louder and louder.
In the woods I saw trees swaying but not to the wind. There was no wind that night. I was scared but had to watch. I hid and noticed the trees were dancing to music. They were happy, swaying with freedom.
Branches stretching out into the night. As the sun rose they stopped and became normal, still. I felt sorry , the trees looked sad, unable to move, almost in prisoned in a frozen state.
When were they to dance again?
The meteorite went zooming through the sky; it looked like we were moving very fast when really we were standing still and it was the meteorite whizzing around all of us like a headless chicken.
As the time went by more and more meteorites came flying into the earth’s atmosphere, as if they were arranging a massive meteor shower. Within moments the biggest meteor shower ever seen in my families history had happened...it was as if the meteors had heard me say ‘as if they were arranging a massive meteor shower’ because they actually did arrange it.
The meteor shower.
I couldn’t wait to go on holiday to the farm. It was like a dream come true. I especially loved the dogs, they are so cute!
Coming to the end of our car journey we were driving down country lanes with lovely little thatched cottages appearing now and then. We were moving very fast, when we suddenly saw a cow ahead of us. “Stop!” I shouted to my dad, who was driving the car, “we are going to hit it!” he slammed his foot hard on the brakes skidding the car. I closed my eyes waiting to hit… I waited… and waited “can I look now?” I whispered.
“Yes.” My dad replied. I slowly opened my eyes we were now in the middle of a muddy field “Where’s the farmer?... we need to be pulled out!”
On one creepy Halloween evening I looked out into the gloom of the garden and saw the mist starting to thicken. Out of the corer of my eye I saw something crawling around on the outside of my window heading towards the drainpipe.
It was sticky, slimy and wet; suddenly, it came down the drainpipe. It was a huge spider, it looked up at me innocently and silently scuttled away. The spider had a purple body with red eyes and a green nose- it was disgusting I had never seen a spider anything like it! Was it real? I had no idea. Or was it just my imagination going wild?
Slimy and Gooey. I could see that the window cleaner was looking strangely at something, I felt like I needed to help, but how? I thought and then had an idea. I wonder whether something is blocked. It could be moss... so I shouted up. “I think there might be something stuck in the drainpipe Alan.”
“Oh Thanks Daniel.”
So Alan wobbled it.
Then it came down the drainpipe …
It was a red, rough toy fire engine. And then the ladder that Alan was standing on started to rock and then he fell on the floor with a loud bang! “Alan, are you ok?” He didn’t answer. So decided to call the Ambulance. They were on their way...!
