SABRINA PART ONE: When Sabrina walked past, the mist on the windows froze over, any nearby hearts would sink, and for a minute you couldn't hear the children laughing in the park. Instead of cheerful chirping in the trees you would hear the thud of birds dropping and hitting the floor. people were scared to find out what might happen to them if her dark empty eyes fired towards them. but she wasn't always like this. Sabrina was once a happy little girl living with her family at the log cabin on the edge of which lock woods until the day she disappeared like bubbles.
SABRINA PART TWO: Popping on the surface of a vast lake wearing her favourite pink dress leaving nothing but a bicycle. Sabrina was lost for 3 years alone in the woods with nothing but her soon-to-be-lost sanity and whatever she could find under the logs and leaves to keep her alive. After being there so long Sabrina knew every inch of the woods, except the way out, until her family's cabin emerged through gaps in the trees bringing her home, but this wasn't the same girl who left to the woods three years ago and her favourite pink dress was now as dark as night.
Our story takes place in the land of oops. Where everything is upside down, topsy turvy and the only way I can think to describe it is plain-weird
For example, if you got a refreshing glass of fizzy lemonade the bubbles would float down not up..weird right?
Everything has the opposite meaning, colour and texture- it could even come out as a different thing altogether! So let’s say someone imagined a nice new blue bike: it would appear in the land of oops but it would be old, clunky and pink. As another example, if you fired a bullet in the land of oops it would turn into a jelly bean...or maybe candy floss or maybe even a raisin!
Also a lot of words are confusing, like in the land of oops, an empty bottle would be named a full bottle, and a full bottle would be an empty bottle. Overall, I think that we can all agree that the land of Oops is very strange and utterly confusing.
One sunny afternoon I was riding my bicycle along the empty road, and decided to stop at the corner shop. I had a pound coin in my pocket and wanted to buy some sweets.
What should I buy? I only had a pound so what could I get?
I know, I thought – how about some of that strawberry flavoured pink bubble gum?
So I bought a packet, popped some in my mouth and rode back home.
I closed my eyes, it was so delicious – I did not see the rock on the ground. I hit it, and my bike fired me over the handlebars…
When I was preparing for tonight’s show, I could tell something was going to happen. Whether it was good or bad I couldn’t quite tell.
I’m Matilda - a circus acrobat - I’m known for flying around the big top like a bubble and when I land it’s like I pop. I am also known for wearing a big hot-pink bow in my hair. There are lots of other people in the show like the clown that rides around on a unicycle (a bicycle but with one wheel and no handlebars).
“Matilda, come here!” said the ringmaster. So I did. “You’re going to be fired out of this cannon” I looked at the empty cannon.
This was going to be the best performance of my life ...
Jacob was moving house. He was leaving all he’s ever known and loved behind and he wasn’t happy about it.
His “demanding” mother wanted him to help them with gathering their things, he was sent to the attic.
Pairs of eyes gleamed in the darkness and cobwebs were in every corner, there was no way of escaping the smell of old furniture.
As Jacob waded through what seemed like ,millions of boxes he saw a mirror. Its once beautiful Victorian style frame with many swirls was now rusty and old-looking and to top that off was covered in dirt and dust.
He touched the mirrors clouded surface and suddenly, an angel appeared. The light blinded him as the angel sat and told him that his new house, and his life there was going to be amazing.
Bill had been OUT OF THIS WORLD, and had been living on the International Space Station for nine months. Today was his unlucky day, as he had to go past the Sun. He knew that if you looked at it from Earth it was very bright, so that meant that looking at it from space would be even brighter and possibly blind you…
He looked outside, “Oh no!” he said with fear. The sun was approaching quickly. He looked again but this time he fell to the floor covering his eyes with his hands. It seemed like the light blinded him.
