Knock knock.
The builders hated their jobs. With the doing-this-and-that day-in and day-out, it was the same old thing. Nothing was new or exciting anymore, just loft conversions ; garages being knocked down. It was a Monday morning in Sheffield, the whole crew got in the vans ready for a new day of average work. All they had to do was a simple knocking down of a church: this would have been the first interesting thing in weeks. With mallets and hammers they set to work banging down layers after layer. A thick wall of dust and muck settled to the ground leaving an empty cave of sight where a sweet shop lay. The sweets were moulded in to different shapes - their once sweet taste disappeared. Jars upon jars of gumdrops, tangy tangerines and gob stoppers! The builders rubbed their eyes in disbelief. It was the most exciting thing they have ever seen!
