I Found Food - Millie

I FOUND FOOD!

He was in the desert for days. No food. Nothing.

He was hungry: face as white as chalk. He was the opposite of energetic. Tired, and starving.

But that’s when the boy saw it.

One lonely sandwich sitting next to a cactus. How? Why?

But the boy didn’t care. He hurried over to the food and gobbled it up in one go.

He suddenly acted like his batteries had been turned on: as the boy ran around the desert like a headless chicken screaming, “I FOUND FOOD! HOORAYY!!”... that sandwich must have been exactly what he was looking for.

Heads - Oscar

"HEADS!" I screamed as battery after battery fell out of the sky like an energetic hoover shooting instead of sucking.

Suddenly a massive sandwich fell out of the sky. When it landed there was a load of coleslaw, that was green instead of white, splatted all over.

"OSCAR RUN!" my Mum screamed as she hurried to the door, I wondered why until I saw a load of of birds with sharp teeth and long claws heading straight at me, the next thing I knew was...

Pop - Harry

It was about to pop.

"HIDE!" screamed James as he chucked his jelly like hands in the air.

BEEEP BEEP - the energetic microwave could take no more.

As the family took cover behind the sofa, James felt he was inside of a squished sandwich.

Out of no where came a massive white light that was so bright James thought he was in heaven.

POP,POP,POP.

The war had started: humans vs popcorn. As James stated to fight the battle of all battles to the microwave!

As James reached the terror machine and his hand and pressed stop beep....

The popcorn war had stopped and out of the blue a double A battery rolled out of the microwave.

But who could have put it in there? Was some one in the house?...

In The Fridge - Peyton

I hurried to the fridge with an appetite for days.

“A SANDWICH! UNBELIEVABLE!” I screamed to anyone who could hear me.

To be fair it has my favourite filling... Delicious ham and cheese on white bread smothered in yellow, creamy butter.

I still can believe Mum only brought some bread and pickles from Morrisons. Oh yeah, and some peanut butter spread.

After that I’m charged like a battery.(Not so nicely because she put the wrong type of cheese.) But I’m ready to go now!

I ran upstairs so nobody could find me for chores or anything like that.

A Jam Sandwich - Joseph

Oh No! The person in front of me in the queue at the school canteen had taken the last jam sandwich! Now what was I going to have for lunch?
I hurried the assistant, James, to get some more white bread. But he said:
“You look energetic enough to go without.”
But I said:
“I’m competing on the school football team."
He believed me and went to get some more. While I was waiting I charged up the battery on my phone.
Two minutes later he came back with a jam sandwich on a tray and said:
“Lunch is served.”

Christmas Eve - MeganKS

It was christmas eve.

Outside was white, the snow had been falling all day.

I felt excited as I ate my ham sandwich that Mum had made me earlier. It was only small as my mum did not want me to spoil my appetite for tomorrow.

“Bed time!”shouted mum from the kitchen.

As I hurried up the stairs to bed, I felt so energetic like a robot who had just had his battery’s recharged.

I was excited and In a way worried, had I been good enough to get what I asked for?

I’m sure I have?

It was about to explode!

Granny hurried around the house like an energetic tortoise with an odd limp!

Then she dropped it,her face went white with shock!

"RUN!" She shouted as she shot out the door like a battery powered jet pack.

When we reached the saftey of the bush, the house exploded into tiny pieces.

Then granny's huge underpants flew though the sky and into space!

We starred into the sky, speechless. That was when the bread, butter and ham fell onto our heads!

"Anyone for a sandwich?" Granny offered as the table landed in front of her.

Scary Birthday - Paulina

It was my birthday... In the corner of my eye I spotted a black figure staring at me through the window.

It was morning and I went to go open my curtains, when I saw this man standing , staring at me! "Who is that?!" I panicked.

''Who are you talking to Samantha?!'' Shouted my Mum. I always pretend that my friends are around me , even when I'm in public.

''Well um.. um Mum there is someone out side staring at me...''As soon as my Mum looked the man was gone...

Come Over Here - Eleanor

The park was weird. Creepy. Dull. Silent. Nothing made a sound until I heard, “Come Over Here!”

Silence.

“Let’s have some fun!”

What should I do? - Run of course. I ran as fast as I could.

Whilst I was running something grabbed me. Pulled me in and then I looked behind but all I could see was a plain old rusty statue.

Run Run Run and Run until I can run no more is what I did.

When I got back home I never say a word.

“Mum, what can I have for food?!”

"Sprouts!"

“NO!”

Well at least I haven’t been caught.

Daisy Chains - Rachel

It was a bright morning. I went out into the garden to make daisy chains to put in my hair.

Suddenly I heard a rustling in the trees down at the bottom of the lawn. Running down to investigate what it was, I tripped over a fallen branch. As I struggled up I saw a glimpse of a hooded figure in the trees. We both froze.

Slowly going up to them I said, “Hello… who are you?” They gave no response.

Turning around they nodded in my direction, still they spoke no words but glided off silently into the distance…

I quickly picked up my daisy chains and ran into the house to tell everyone what I had just seen.
