Mr. Happychappy was always dancing in the kitchen. He owned a bright yellow tie and a light orange tutu. As if a dolphin was on land, he danced horribly into the freezing cold, clear bath.
While he was in the bath he realised he was wearing a tutu in the bath which Mr. Happychappy was clumsily doing it everyday.

War. The hatred. Non-stop bombs. Everything around me gone. Planes drowning , nothing could stop this. I couldn't help myself but take part.
If only my family were here, I know they would say no. It reminded me of a time when this same conflict was raging on 30 years ago or so. I didn't care what the difference between life and death was. War here was like nothing you had ever experienced. Ruined buildings people in such a state. I would have to see my dead family in this person's view. Hot. Sunny. Relaxing. The hot weather, causing a drought was simply lovely. Lying on the sun lounger, the heat was tanning my legs, like I was in the Mediterranean. It reminded me of the time I went to Florida, with the golden sand between my toes - it was heaven. It was a shame we didn’t have a beach near us.
Then an excellent idea came in my head! Why don’t we all go to Croft farm. Croft farm was a big lake where you could hire out lots of boats, pedalos and paddle boards. So I strolled inside to ask my daughters (Esme and Tilly) if they wanted to go there with there friends; Martha, Sophie and Chloe. “Yes please Mum, that would be amazing.” So that’s what they did. When we arrived there, I hired a big, pink flamingo pedalo for all the children to play on. It was such hard work pushing it into the water it felt about 100 stone. The girls had so much fun on the pedals: all I could hear was giggling and laughter. Time passes and since pedalling was so tiring they decided to go home. Four whole years of hard work to the war, and now there is a second one. It reminded me of a time when World War 1 was declared. Furious, sad and cross. Everyone thought the same thing "No one likes this war just stop it!"
The popularity goes on about the same thing: "do your bit" and most men are. It's time for the women to step up to the plate and they did: on the land by making sure there is food grown. Mechanics, nurses, engineers... women were important to the war and they always will be remembered for this. Grenades thrown, shells raining down and gunshots firing out of the magazine. It reminded me of the time when I was fighting in World War 1. My friend John would always back me up. He was always there for me, like a family member really. I heard a gunshot. I turned as fast as I could, to see a bullet go straight through him. He was dead…
Why was there a war? Why did this horrible conflict happen? That’s just some of the thoughts that were going through my head. I missed him, I really did. I’ll never forget him. Back to part of a sentence this week. Remember you must include these words exactly as they are written here:
…it reminded me of a time when… Try to actively include some fronted adverbials in your writing this week. Matilda was wandering with curiosity about what she wanted to be when she was older .
Sat at the back of Matilda’s mansion was a 1,000,000 acre back garden. Posh, magical and huge are just three words that I would use to describe her garden but I am lost for words about her marble fountain apart from: beautiful. It had pretty little fairy lights wrapped round it and there was a head of of a bull, a horse and a goat perched on top. “ Hello Matilda I am someone who you don’t know, but I know you” said a voice who could not be placed. “Huh?” “ I am the voice of a bull , a horse and a goat” “Ok” said the shocked and befuddled Matilda. The fountain which she had for years was talking to her. Bully, Horsey and Goaty - was what she had called them when she was little - were real . Lucy was wandering with curiosity about what to do with her day.
"Ah Lucy .... what is your wish?" said a voice which Lucy could not place. "Huh?" "What is your wish,Lucy?" Shocked and befuddled, Lucy couldn't believe her eyes: this fountain, which had been here for years, was talking at her. The fountain, with a stone goats head, kept saying "What is your wish?". Greg was strolling with love about what to do for the day.
Sat at the back of Greg's Manor was a garden with a magnificent fountain. "Ah, Greg what is your wish?" said a voice which Greg could not place. "Huh?" "What is your wish, Greg?" Shocked and befuddled, Greg couldn't believe his eyes: this fountain, which he had for years, was talking to him. The fountain with a statue goats heads, kept asking the same question... Jess was wandering around with curiosity about what to do today.
Sat at the back of Jess’s Manor was a beautiful garden what a majestic stone fountain, but the weird thing was there was a goats head on it ! “Ah,Jess... what is your wish?” Said a voice which Jess could not place. “Huh” “What is your wish Jess ?” Shocked and befuddled, Jess couldn’t believe her eyes : this fountain ,that she had for years, was speaking to her? |
