Waves crashing up the side of the boat; I suddenly found myself in a raging storm. I was rattling right to left as the current span the boat around.
Darkness surrounded me and I felt lost as if I was stuck in a maze. Suddenly I heard a bang then an agonising pain in my skull. I had been hit. I went down like a boxer pounding down his opponent in the ring!
The sun was beaming through the trees, what TREES!! Why could I see trees? As my eyes take focus I realise I am no longer at sea but have crashed onto a mysterious island.
Question is, where am I? And how do I get home?.....
In the misty, heavy forest, I could feel the winter air rushing UNDER my feet and up through my body and it sent a cold as STEEL shiver down my spine. As I looked around I noticed that the trees were blossoming with beautiful MAUVE flowers that went on forever and this took the chill away from my bones. The squelching ground splashed up at me with every step and I felt overwhelmed and TEARFUL at the thought of having to reach my destination. The sight of huge, tall, magnificent sunflowers shooting up like CARROTS carried me on to my destination. I am here warm, dry and happy at last.
The air raid siren rang out, it was almost deafening. I took shelter in a tube station. Huddled together UNDER the streets of London. A TEARFUL sound distracted me. I could see a small child in a MAUVE coat clinging onto her mother with one hand and in the other a bright orange CARROT.
We could hear bombs exploding above us. Eventually the siren stopped it was time to see the damage.....
Above ground all we could see was bombed up buildings, STEEL smashed to the ground! When will this horror end?.....
Translucent drops of blinding, beaded snow,
Snowball fun for everyone!
Raindrops, please stop,
Clouds burst into heavy showers,
foggy and dewy
Splashing fun for everyone!
Sunlight makes gorgeous daylight,
Ice-creams, seasides and lazy days
Sunshine fun for everyone!
It was such a beautiful day as they head out to the park for their picnic. The sun gleaming like a gold medal in the sky. The children had packed a football, their bikes and a frisbee to play with. They were so excited for the picnic they had been checking the weather forecast for days. SUN SUN & more sun was the forecast.
They arrived at the park and set up their blankets and picnic. Everyone enjoyed all the delicious food and we're about to start playing when disaster struck....
The heavens opened as it began to rain, the heaviest rain you have ever seen in your life! Then BANG thunder and CLASH lightening!
How could this happen? They had checked the forecast but the weather had changed! They quickly grabbed their things and packed it all into their car running to avoid getting wet. They tried to dodge the huge raindrops but it was pointless as they were soaked through to the skin.
As they were already wet they decided to go swimming. As soon as they got into the swimming pool the rain stopped and the gleaming sun showed his hat again. They looked at each other and laughed. The weather changed again...
The white pure snow layered up as the leaves whistled its way through the bare winter trees. The sound of a leaf touching the ground softly created a thunder BOOM!
The wind whispered that the weather has changed, silence for a few seconds then a lightning strike, the weather had changed.
A bright beam of light shone down on me as shiny as a diamond. A yellow small flower shot up from the ground until a drop of water fell from the fresh air and clouds. Another drop fell followed by more. The weather had changed...
"Which way do I go?" I said to myself over and over.
The old, wooden and rain washed signpost makes me feel so confused and indecisive. My thoughts go around and around, hour after hour.
"Should I go this, or should I go that"?
The sign that points to the left leads me to a world full of black and white objects, everything is in place and where it is supposed to be. Everybody looks robotic with no imperfections just perfections, they all look the same, act the same and each one copying exactly the same action as the robot before them. The road is straight with no twists and turns. I need to get out of here and see just what lies in the other direction. Wow, yes this where I want to be, this direction holds colour, uniqueness and a chance to be you and be the best that I can be. The road is long and may be difficult at times, but it holds so many opportunities and if I choose I can be anything I want to be. Yes this is my direction and I am sticking to it.
It was an extremely dark and misty night. Through the mist I could see two alleyways. Which way should I go? Left or right.....
Both alleyways looked cold and uninviting. Suddenly I heard a noise to my right. Without thinking my feet started to move and took me to the right. The further I walked the noise got louder and louder. When I turned the corner I was in for a shock...
The noise was music and I was now in the middle of a huge street party! People were dancing and having fun. I was in a flood of happiness and laughter.
I was so pleased I had taken the right alleyway but where would I have ended up if I had turned left. I will never know.....
